Student Sign Up

Roadmap to becoming a Student ACE:

1. Fill out and submit the application by August 15, 2017. Please register for the location based upon the school list provided. (if you physically live closer to another location that is more convenient please contact rebecca@studentacesforleadership.com)
2. Follow Student ACES on Social Media and check your email on a regular basis for important information. twitter @studentaces instagram @studentaces Facebook Student ACES
3. Once your application has been received and you have been accepted, you will be sent registration paperwork. 
4.Submit the Registration paperwork no later than September 1, 2017
5. Seek approval with your school administration, your absence should be marked as a TLE. If they have questions, call 850-559-7612.
6. Discuss with your parent or guardian. This is exciting and they should be proud. 
7. Prepare for the first class by reminding your teachers and principal you will be at the ACE Class.
8. Attend the ACE Class at your designated location arrive promptly at 8:30am as we will take attendance and send it in to the school as it were a normal school day.
9. After the class ensure your attendance has been documented properly through your school as each school has a different process.

9. Repeat steps 7, 8 and 9 for all ACE classes. 

Student ACES for Leadership Miami

Sponsored by FPL

Certify and train 2,000 students in Miami-Dade County through the Student ACES for Leadership Miami program sponsored by Florida Power & Light Company. This program will be offered in single-day leadership summits hosted at local university campuses and institutions. The program is designed for high school juniors and seniors from both public and private high schools. Students will learn about leadership values and traits such as honor, integrity and character and will have the opportunity to network with business and community leaders.  Participants will receive take-home curriculum and will have the opportunity to learn about internships and careers options in the energy sector and related disciplines.
